What is the Grand Rapids Foodie Fest?

The 2025 Foodie Fest Summer Series is a celebration of summer flavors, featuring four distinct events—Foodie Frenzy, Wing Palooza, Reggae Fest, and Taco Palooza. Running from May to September, each event offers a diverse lineup of food vendors, artisan vendors, live music, exciting contests, and an exclusive VIP Lounge. This series highlights local talent, diverse cuisines, and community spirit, making it a must-attend summer tradition.

The Grand Rapids Foodie Fest takes place at the Calder Plaza, 300 Monroe Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI, 49503. This event is outdoors. 

July 4th | FRIDAY: 3:00PM-10:00PM
July 5th | SATURDAY: 11:00AM-10:00PM
July 6th | SUNDAY: 12:00PM-6:00PM

No, the event is completely free. No tickets are needed.

What kind of entertainment will be at Grand Rapids Foodie Fest?
Get ready for a vibrant lineup! Reggae Fest features live reggae bands, DJs spinning classic and modern reggae tunes. Entertainment celebrates the laid-back, soulful spirit of reggae culture.

Will there be live music all day?
Live performances will run throughout the day, interspersed with DJ sets to keep the energy flowing. There’s never a dull moment!
Yes, feel free to bring portable chairs. Bringing your own lawn chair is encouraged. There’s open space near the stage, plus bleachers in the dining area for seating.

Where can I park?

Free public parking is available via street parking along Scribner Avenue and Front Avenue surrounding the event grounds.

Yes, designated ADA parking is available near the event entrance.

Yes, the Rapid Bus Route 7 stops at Scribner Avenue NW and 6th St NW. Ride-share services, carpooling, scooters, and bicycles are also encouraged.

What kind of food will be available?

A variety of food options will be available. Some vendors will be offering vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free menu items.

Outside food and drinks are not permitted, except for medically necessary dietary items and baby food.

Yes, alcohol will be available for purchase, including craft beer and premium options. Individuals aged 21 and older must present a valid ID.

Most vendors accept cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments (e.g., Apple Pay, Venmo). We recommend bringing some cash as a backup, as there will be no on-site ATM.

Yes, the event takes place on flat, cement grounds. ADA-accessible portable restrooms are available. There are ramps on both ends of the festivals.
