Celebrating its fourth year, the Grand Rapids Foodie Fest returns as one of West Michigan’s largest outdoor food festivals, bringing together food enthusiasts from Grand Rapids and beyond for a three-day extravaganza over the Fourth of July weekend. Held at the heart of downtown at Calder Plaza, this family-friendly event showcases the region’s culinary diversity with 50+ food trucks and booths offering a wide array of local favorites, from savory bites to sweet treats. The festival is complemented by live music and dance performances, creating a festive atmosphere.

Can I bring my own food or drinks?
Outside food and drinks are not permitted, except for medically necessary dietary items and baby food.
Will alcohol be served?
Yes, alcohol will be available for purchase, including craft beer and premium options. Individuals aged 21 and older must present a valid ID.
What payment methods are accepted at the event?
Most vendors accept cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments (e.g., Apple Pay, Venmo). We recommend bringing some cash as a backup, as there will be no on-site ATM.
I don’t drink beer. What else is available?
If you don’t drink beer, there’s still plenty for you to enjoy at the Grand Rapids Foodie Fest. Alongside the beer garden, you’ll find a variety of non-alcoholic beverages like lemonade, iced , soda, and water. Some vendors may also offer specialty drinks.
